Experience & Leadership

Steven's career in the home services industry began by helping build and grow his family's painting business before joining DeHart Plumbing, Heating, and Air Inc. There, he helped expand and transform operations as the company developed a broader residential and commercial service presence across HVAC and plumbing.

Today, Steven leads DeHart Plumbing, Heating, and Air Inc. and DeHart Technical School, with responsibilities spanning operations, business development, customer experience, sales coaching, employee development, contractor education, and long-term organizational growth. His technical and operational perspective is grounded in real-world home service environments, including HVAC system replacement, plumbing services, preventive maintenance, indoor air quality, water quality, and energy-efficiency considerations.

As President of DeHart Technical School, Steven supports HVAC/R training, certification preparation, and career pathways for students entering the skilled trades. He is also a graduate of the school and serves as an instructor and consultant for Lennox® Learning Solutions, providing training and education to contractors across the United States.
